3rd phase ; Transition and seperation (disassociation) this could take lots of time to understand ,learn, and feel. Some never get it
Every great athlete always works on their footwork how would you with this method ?

1st phase : Standing on the board establishes your balanced base (4 min).
2nd phase : Takeaway and backswing (10-15 min with guidance) using the proper resistance bands to engage the right muscles makes it easy to adjust.
3rd phase: Transition and separation (disassociation) 3 drills to teach and give the player the feel (time to adapt varies)
Having the platform being able to move you can work on your footwork , disassociation and rotation skills while building strength

In any situation, the sequence of performing a task is: PREPARE -get your body in the right position: STABILIZE- engage all the necessary muscles to ensure your body can move in that direction without leaking power by losing leverage: and PRODUCE - generate force through a pushing or pulling motion to accomplish the most powerful and fastest movement possible.
Being able to test the strength of your muscles while performing a task is one of the most important things we can do to prevent injury.
If there were 2 weights on the ground 1 weighing 5 pounds and 1 weighing 150lbs would you lift them the same ? Use the system above Prepare/Stabilize/Produce. Would they be the same for both ? If no ? Why not ? and could you reverse the method and still lift both ?
Strength is always seen as a positive but can also be a negative as it can stop us from improvement and actually cause long term injury which could lead to operations to repair torn or over used muscles. if we are not improving our technique because of the ability to overpower the flaws to complete the task we could be putting those muscles at risk. Accomplishment of a task without it becoming easier is not a gain it is a MAINTAIN And should be the first sign of this.
